Stratham Travel Soccer
The town of Stratham fields both Girls and Boys U11 Travel Soccer Teams each fall. Travel soccer is typically for the ‘experienced’ soccer player that would like to make a greater commitment to the sport of soccer to further develop their skills and improve their game in a more competitive environment than Stratham Recreation Soccer.

Tryouts for Stratham U11 Travel Soccer are usually 2 dates in late May and early June for the following Fall season. Check the website and look for notices via the school for exact dates and times. Or email the Stratham Soccer board at

U11 teams play 8 vs 8 including a goalie. League rules limit roster sizes to 15 maximum. Depending on the numbers at tryouts, Stratham may field more than 1 team each season.

Practices typically start in mid – August and are usually held twice per week.

The Fall season starts in early September and games are often held every Saturday AND Sunday through mid / late October.

The U11 teams typically participate in a soccer tournament held over Columbus Day weekend. The team will play a minimum of 3 games.

Eligibility … players must be entering at least the 4th grade of the fall season and be under the age of 11 prior to August 1 immediately preceding the seasonal year.

In the NH Seacoast Youth Soccer League, U11 teams do not participate in the end of season league tournament or state championship games.

Current fees for participants on the Travel Teams are $140. Included with this fee is a uniform (plus practice jersey) each player gets to keep.
For older Stratham children that would like to participate in travel soccer, Stratham has merged with the Exeter Youth Soccer Association. Players that would like to play in the U12, U13 and U14 age groups should attend EYSA tryouts typically held in May. Please refer to the EYSA website for exact dates and times.
